In April 2024, I visited Los Angeles and took a flying lesson. Cut to me crossing off #19, flying an airplane over Pacific Palisades (this was before the fires). It was a perfect day. I’m so grateful for that experience because of the devastation that happened only a year later. Wishing the best for all of the residents still figuring out their housing and dealing with insurance — the community was so warm and welcoming and kind.
