#13. Turn Driftyland into a zine

I did it. Driftyland is now a zine!

With the help of my advisor, Jen Berg, I worked on this project during my independent study in Fall 2025. It took months of preparation and writing to get it to a format I was happy with. Then, there was the design – I chose a template in Canva and adjusted it (about a million times) and then sent it out to get printed. This was the mockup I was going for:

I recorded a TikTok that captured my approach and the finished product. I was pretty pleased with it and it got a whopping 4 likes! But hey, I’m all about the small batch views. I just absolutely love seeing this zine take form. I even made some stickers inspired by my trips. You can check it all out on my revamped Etsy, Thriftyland Shop.
